Consultancy Services

Following a review of the services that we provide and requests from new customers, we now offer an independent Consultancy Service for cleaning services. The service is designed to allow customers the opportunity to review their current service provision by experts who know how cleaning works and where improvements can be identified.

There may be a number of reasons why customers wish to review their cleaning services and this could be disappointed with the standard of cleaning, concerns about spiralling costs or it simply hasn’t been reviewed for several years.

Projects can be undertaken on a day rate basis with an agreed number of days provided with agreed outcomes to a short-term contract provision to monitor and manage the service being delivered.

KGB can help with either option and our trained consultant advisors are able to assess your current costings and identify where there may be surplus within the charge to them and help to address these issues. Our consultants are experts who will design and implement the most efficient systems to improve cleaning standards and reduce costs.

We would expect to undertake a preliminary audit of the customers current cleaning arrangements to identify potential areas for improvement and a financial assessment.

Contract Review

During the Contract Review we assess all services and costs being provided to you within the current contract and provide a gap analysis report identifying where there may be improvements or costs require further investigation. This deep dive can be fully inclusive or a superficial review whereby the focus is quality driven to identify how the service delivery can be improved.

The superficial review will not provide a cost analysis on existing budgets and therefore we will create a costing template for each customer to allow them to implement quickly and efficiently.

Procurement

We can conduct an assessment to formulate your organisation’s cleaning services strategy and whether your current in-house or external contractor option is best. Historically there are ‘pro’s and con’s’ in favour of both in-house/external options, and these will be primarily driven by the customers business strategy and financial dept to pay for the cleaning service.

We have found that post COVID, customers are generally paying more for their cleaning service, and this can be a quick win to remove any superfluous expenditure when deciding on your preferred procurement option.

Tender Process

If you have a planned tender date or require a review of your cleaning service, we can play a supporting role to assist you with the assessment and scoring of the tenderers.

For example, the key principles of public sector tendering are Transparency, Equal Treatment, Non-Discrimination and Proportionality and these would be discussed during your pre-tender preparation.
